Plot Summary
Bruno Hamel, a surgeon in his late thirties, leads a happy life with his wife and 8-year old daughter. But when his child is raped and then murdered, everything changes. After the “monster” is arrested, Bruno plots revenge by kidnapping him on the day he appears in court. Bruno lets the police in on his plan: he will torture the murderer for seven days, then execute him. Once this task is accomplished Bruno will give himself up.
