Plot Summary
Gisele, a youth-center social-worker in her fifties, finds out, after her husband’s death, that he had been having a secret affair for many years. Moved by Gisele’s recent loss, Yannick, a 19 year-old kleptomaniac, attempts to get close to her. He shows his affection by stealing her personal possessions and invading her space. Their romance is met with many obstacles. For Gisele: her children, who mourn the loss of their father; the search for her late husband’s mistress, and a jealous colleague. Yannick, on the other hand, is tempted by the reappearance of his ex-lover and old habits die hard…They try, beyond their age difference and the social norms they face, to find one another – to love and to simply be, for a certain time, together
